Introduced the Data Shelter module for centrally managed data access control – extend Jetico Central Manager with policy-based protection for sensitive folders. Data Shelter helps organizations restrict access to protected files based on trusted applications, processes and authorized users. Key capabilities include:
Policy-based access control for sensitive folders – protect selected folders by allowing access only to approved applications, processes and users.
Default-deny protection against unauthorized access and modification – reduce exposure to ransomware, insider misuse and over-permissioned tools by blocking untrusted processes from reading or changing protected files.
Centralized deployment and policy management – create, assign and update Data Shelter policies across managed endpoints from Jetico Central Manager.
Protected backup use cases – support assisted immutable backup workflows by guarding backup locations with Data Shelter policies.
