For many years, BCWipe has been trusted by the U.S. Department of Defense for permanently deleting selected data or erasing entire hard drives beyond recovery. U.S. government agencies, including the Department of Defense, can now easily make volume license purchases of BCWipe Total WipeOut through Ideal’s GSA Schedule.

Before disposing, decommissioning or repurposing laptops, desktops, external hard drives or other storage media, enterprises must be certain that all sensitive data has been erased without any chance of recovery. BCWipe Total WipeOut is run from a bootable disk to permanently erase all contents of an entire hard drive, including boot records, filesystem structures and operating system files.
BCWipe Total WipeOut enables users to wipe hard drives according to U.S. Department of Defense recommendations to destroy data (DoD 5220.22-M) or with a user-defined customized wiping scheme.
Licensing For Enterprises
One (1) license For Enterprises entitles users to download the software to make one (1) copy of BCWipe Total WipeOut (on a CD, DVD or USB thumb drive). Each copy with a license For Enterprises may be used to wipe an unlimited amount of hard drives. So, if you have two (2) technicians that each needs their own copy, then you would need two (2) licenses.
