Minimum System Requirements
BCWipe Total WipeOut for Mac requires one of the following macOS systems to run the USB Configuration Wizard to create a bootable USB drive:
- macOS Catalina
- macOS Big Sur
- macOS Monterey
BCWipe Total WipeOut for Mac can help erase one of the following Mac models (Intel-based and M1):
- MacBook (Early 2015 or newer)
- MacBook Air (Mid 2012 or newer)
- MacBook Pro (Mid 2012 or newer)
- Mac mini (Late 2012 or newer)
- iMac (Late 2012 or newer)
- iMac Pro (2017)
- Mac Pro (Late 2013 or newer)
- iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021)
- MacBook Pro (13-inch, M1, 2020)
- MacBook Air (M1, 2020)
- Mac mini (M1, 2020)
To erase a legacy Apple device that is not on the list above, create the Bootable USB using BCWipe Total WipeOut for Windows instead: https://www.jetico.com/download/bcwipe-total-wipeout
