Jetico Messenger Server

1. Server monitor

The running server monitor has a link opening the web messenger application "Open Messenger in a Web Browser" and a link opening the messenger administrator console "Open Administrator console in Web Browser".

You must change the default values of the server administrator username and password, which are used to access the messenger's administrative console and set up the server administrator and support service accounts. All this data must be entered into the server configuration file.

2. Registering a server administrator and support service.

Click on the "Open Messenger in a Web Browser" link in the server monitor and proceed to registering the messenger administrator in the web browser. 

3. Enter a phone number

You need to register the first two users - the server administrator with the phone number you specified in the application.conf file under adminAccount, and register the support phone number with the phone number you specified in the supportAccount.

4. Phone number verification

Enter the code from the SMS received to the phone number you specified in the previous step.

5. Sign up

Enter your username, create a password of at least 8 characters and confirm it.

6. Key generation

Wait some time while the application generates keys and registers you on the server.

7. Web Messenger panel

After successful registration, you will be taken to a screen where you can create conversations and invite participants from your phone book.

To proceed to creating a support account, you need to log out of the administrator account. To do this, click on the "sandwich"  icon.

8. Leave an account

You will see a list of actions available to any registered user. Click "Logout" to leave the server administrator account.

9. Back to input password screen

You will be taken to the password entry screen. To go to the support service registration screen, click "Back". After that, you will be taken to the phone number entry screen (3. Registering a server administrator and support service) from which you started registering the administrator account and will be able to register the support service account.
