When Jetico Central Manager (JCM) runs in Windows Domain network, the software can utilize Microsoft Active Domain functionality such as listing Domain computers and running automated deployment of client software.
To be able to do that JCM needs to have Microsoft Remote System Administration Tools (RSAT) and also Group Policy Management (GPMC) packages installed on the computer where JCM Console runs.
If the computer is running server version of Windows (Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2012 R2 ), you don't have to install additional software. Start the Add Features Wizard in Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2 or the Add Roles and Features Wizard in Windows Server 2012 and later versions. Then, on the Select Features page, select Remote Server Administration Tools, and Group Policy Management. Complete the wizard to install the management tools.

On Windows Vista and Windows 7, the tools are not automatically available after you download and install RSAT. You must enable the tools that you want to use by using Control Panel. To do this, click Start-->Control Panel-->Programs and Features-->Turn Windows features on or off. In the RSAT releases for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 8, tools are once again all enabled by default. You can open Turn Windows features on or off to disable tools that you don't want to use. In RSAT for Windows 10, Windows 8.1, and Windows 8, you access GUI-based tools from within the Server Manager console, on the Tools menu.
NOTE: Jetico Central Manager (JCM) detects Windows Domain network and if Microsoft RSAT or Group Policy Management (GPMC) are not installed on the computer, JCM Console program dispays notification message suggesting JCM Administrator should install RSAT and GPMC packages.
